Athlete Responsibilities

  • Know the location, schedule and rules
  • Arrive with enough time to park, walk to venue, find a seat, stretch, hang target, relax and get in the zone
  • Pack and prepare for the event; use a list to help pack
  • Know the dress code and pack appropriate clothing and footwear
  • Be mentally and physically prepared to compete
  • Master breathing and control heart rate
  • Have mental discipline to shoot each arrow as perfectly as in practice
  • Maintain composure throughout competition
