Lynda has completed the Coaching Principles Course from the Human Kinetics Coach Education Center and works with students on athletic, nutritional, and mental strategy. Lynda has a son, Kurtis, is a motorcycle and Jeep enthusiast, and loves music.

Lynda's Background

Lynda has established two USA Archery JOAD clubs and, along with her solid team of instructors and coaches, currently runs the largest archery learning academy in Texas, with multiple state and national podium wins from X10 Academy. An organized, well-structured club, with access to resources, is the key to a successful program.

Lynda spent 10 years working for Brtish Intelligence where her tours included two years as a data analyst, four years in project management, and four years in IT working as a network engineer and Webmaster. Stateside, Lynda spent four years as an Executive Director of an adoption ministry, and four years as Director of Sagemont Church bookstore and cafe. This last stint included being instrumental in the planning, development, and establishment of the new bookstore and cafe as part of a multi-million dollar building project.

These planning, management, and technical skills have all come into play as Lynda has created and grown X10 Archery and Academy.

Lynda created the Success Breeds Success program because she recognized that not all archery stores had the knowledge or skill sets to create a teaching academy - a great way to grow archery and keep bringing archers through the door.

X10 Academy's Success Program is an ATA approved Service Member Provider.

Lynda presented a seminar on "Building a Successful Archery Learning Academy" at the 2018 ATA Show, and will be presenting again at #ATA2020. She will be available for consultation in the X10 Academy booth.

In 2017 she earned a Mixed Teams Bronze Medal, in Puerto Rico, and represented the US at the World Cup, Antalya where she garnered the top spot on the Women’s Recurve team.
